No time to wait around Canberra Sprint Coach, June 6, 2024August 29, 2024 For FAST & Active member, Joanne, there’s no time to wait around. Working 9-5, taxiing the kids to their sports, and then the housework when you get home, it’s difficult to find the time just for you. Joanne’s story is much like many of us and squeezing in exercising amongst all the competing priorities just becomes hard. Working with Canberra Sprint and Running Coach, Steve Dodt, members of FAST & Active set their own goals based on their availability. Sessions are determined on their needs and everyone knows its ok if they can’t make a run, and that their always welcome. Joanne has found a way to get her exercise by combining the drop off of her son at running practice. She can run in a group with others while taking a break from being the Taxi. Joanne’s needs are met and she’s not having to find the time somewhere else in her busy diary. FAST & Active sessions take about an hour and no previous running experience is required. The self paced nature means you do it your way, with the group dynamic there to provide the support and encouragement required to make challenging things more interactive and fun.
