Qualification for Nationals Canberra Sprint Coach, January 10, 2024 Competition season is upon us and all eyes are on qualifying for the Athletics Australia National Track and Field Championships. Congratulations to the following FAST Running athletes who have already recorded auto qualification including Siena (200), Daniel (100 and 200), and Nate (100 and 200). The remaining members of FAST are determined to join their team mates by showing a strong performance in the ACT Athletics Championship in a few weeks. They will be chasing a top three finish in their respective event or a qualifying time (or both). For Mathias, Grace and Vish, this would be their first selection for a Junior National Championship. For Nic and Joshua they are used to competing against the best athletes in the country already and are only 0.3s off from an automatic qualification. So far this season there has already been a number of strong performances by the squad with a number of Personal Bests. The next couple of months will be very exciting indeed. FAST Running has a strong tradition of sending very competitive sprinters to Nationals and this year this looks already to be the case again., FAST Track News CanberraResultsSprinting
