Summer Series: 2 November 2024 Canberra Running Coach, November 3, 2024December 23, 2024 FAST Running athletes delivered spectacular results at the 2 November 2024 Capital Athletics Summer Series, showcasing their readiness for the season ahead: Daniel Nwaboi: Daniel announced his intentions for the All Schools Championships in Brisbane with two commanding victories in the Open Men’s events. He set a new 100m personal best of 11.35s, finishing first against older and more experienced competitors. Later, he shattered his 200m personal best by 0.6 seconds, clocking 22.75s to take another first-place finish. Both performances highlight Daniel’s rising trajectory and competitive edge. Siena Towndrow: Siena secured her first win of the season in the premier Open Women’s 100m with a new personal best of 12.60s. This strong performance underscores her determination and preparation for a successful season ahead. Tom Madigan: Tom showcased his versatility and determination with two outstanding performances. In the Open Men’s 200m A Race, he ran his second-fastest time ever at 25.58s, defeating older and more experienced athletes in his first A Race. Tom then capped off his day with a win in the Open Men’s 400m, clocking an impressive 55.86s, his second-fastest time to date. These results are a testament to the relentless effort and focus of our athletes and their commitment to excellence.
