Summer Series: 9 November 2024 Canberra Sprint Coach, November 11, 2024November 11, 2024 FAST Running Shines at Capital Athletics Summer Series The FAST Running squad delivered standout performances at the Capital Athletics Summer Series on Saturday afternoon at Woden Athletics Track. With personal bests falling and the energy building for All Schools just three weeks away, it was a day full of milestones for our athletes as they exemplified our commitment to Running Excellence. Daniel Nwaboi set a new personal best in the 100m, clocking in at 11.24 seconds, marking a fantastic achievement and showcasing his hard work in training. Lewin Ainsworth made double strides, breaking his personal records in both the 100m (12.52s) and 200m (25.72s), an inspiring step forward for this season. Sam Ainsworth, at just 11 years old, powered through with PBs in the 60m (9.22s) and 100m (14.59s), proving that age is no barrier to excellence. Tom Madigan smashed his 400m PB, finishing with a remarkable time of 55.27 seconds—a testament to his drive and dedication. With All Schools Nationals just around the corner, these performances reflect the hard work, focus, and resilience of each FAST athlete. Our team continues to rise, pushing boundaries and setting new standards for Running Excellence.
