Tom is taking it all in his stride Canberra Running Coach, October 30, 2023February 7, 2024 For Tom Hickey, training with FAST since June 2021 has all been about the fun. Each Sunday, Tom really looks forward to training with the other kids. Tom is a multi talented runner who also enjoys playing Rugby, performing in School Musicals and Theatre. His Dad says that “Tom really enjoys FAST and his running style looks much better”. At the 2022 LAACT Championships, Tom had a personal best time of 18.74s for the 80m Hurdles. In the heats, he ran 17.42s and made his first ever final, finishing 7th overall and a new PB of 17.17s. This season, Tom will continue to take his development all in his stride and is looking forward to the next training session, trying something new, having fun and making new friends.
