Tylan on the FAST Track Canberra Running Coach, September 18, 2024September 18, 2024 Tylan began with the FAST Track program in July this year. Tylan didn’t have any previous running experience apart from competing at the school level. Training twice a week up until the beginning of September, Tylan has developed really well quickly. His running form has improved incredibly and he’s running fast. Tylan’s focus was to improve his 100m to 800m times. He has done that already, with massive improvements of 0.5s, 2.5s and 20s on last year’s regionals. Not only that, Tylan has for the first time, qualified for the ACT Championships. Looking beyond September, Tylan will focus on the 200m/400m moving forward. Under the guidance of Canberra Sprint Coach, Steve Dodt, Tylan is hoping to qualify for Junior Nationals in these events.
