Accelerate: FAST Running for under 12s Canberra Running Coach, January 7, 2024 The weekend’s Accelerate session for kids under 12 years was a lot of fun. Under the guidance of Canberra Sprint Coach, Steve Dodt, and Australian Medalist Daniel Nwaobi, the children were well looked after. Organised in small group sizes to encourage participation, kids are dynamically trained in warming up, technique and physical conditioning. Each Accelerate session is fast flowing with activities giving a constant stream of fun physical exercises whilst maintaining engagement. Post session feedback in front of parents demonstrates FAST retention and skill development Each child gets the chance to participate in how they learned something new and what it means to them. Over the school break there are sessions for younger and older children in Canberra. Please contact us for more details about taking part.
