Expanding Our Commitment to Running Excellence Canberra Sprint Coach, November 8, 2024December 13, 2024 FAST Running Welcomes New Coach Charlotte Rauraa At FAST Running, we believe that great coaching is the backbone of athlete success. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce the addition of Charlotte Rauraa to our coaching team, a move that strengthens our Running Excellence philosophy and enhances the experience for every athlete in our squad. Charlotte Rauraa is not only a highly skilled and accredited coach but also a rare talent in the world of sports coaching—especially in sprinting. At just 20, Charlotte has five years of coaching experience with Ginninderra Athletics Club, where she guided junior athletes as both a Coach and Athlete Mentor. As a former FAST athlete herself, she brings a unique insider perspective, having trained with us through the FAST Track program and gone on to represent ACT and NSW at national and international competitions. Her experience as a multi-talented competitor includes achievements in sprints, netball, football, and ultimately, a standout specialization in throws. Charlotte’s extensive accomplishments, including five national finals and leadership as Team Captain for the ACT at the Little Athletics Nationals, speak to her talent, drive, and commitment. As a female coach in a field where they are all too rare, Charlotte’s presence marks a special milestone for FAST Running. She brings not only coaching expertise but also serves as a role model, especially for our FAST Female athletes, many of whom are navigating the same pathways she has successfully traveled. An Expanded Coaching Team for All AthletesWith Charlotte on board, FAST Running is better equipped than ever to support the diverse needs of our athletes. Our expanded coaching structure allows us to provide more personalized guidance, an extra set of expert eyes on training, and mentorship that aligns with our philosophy of continuous improvement. Charlotte’s role will focus on the FAST for Sport and FAST & Active programs, helping athletes of all ages, from teens to adults, enhance their speed, agility, and overall athletic performance. The FAST AdvantageLed by award-winning Canberra Sprints and Hurdles Coach Steve Dodt, FAST Running is built on decades of coaching excellence. With Charlotte joining the team, we’re strengthening that foundation, giving our athletes access to an even richer coaching experience. Whether you’re a young athlete beginning your journey or a seasoned competitor aiming to elevate your performance, FAST Running’s combined coaching expertise offers a unique and dedicated pathway to success. Charlotte officially joins us next week, and we’re excited to welcome her back to FAST Running in this important new role. As we continue to expand, we’re reaffirming our commitment to a high-caliber coaching environment that nurtures athletes and propels them to new heights. If you’re looking for a squad with a legacy of excellence and a focus on individual growth, FAST Running might just be your perfect fit.
