Running in the FAST lane Canberra Sprint Coach, September 30, 2024September 30, 2024 Simeon Omosigho is another of the exciting sprint prospects hoping to do well at the upcoming Australian All Schools Championships this December in Brisbane. Simeon’s passion is playing football, but his incredible acceleration has heads turning as the 14 year old sets his sights for another Australian Championship final in the 100m. Since his debut at Northside Regionals in 2022, Simeon has taken his personal best from 13.60s to 11.79s in 2024. Working with award winning Canberra Sprint Coach, Steve Dodt, Simeon is set to finish higher than 6th at this year’s National Championships. Simeon is now in the FAST lane and in good company with training mates like Australian Para U18 and U20 National Record Holder Nate Halpin, Commonwealth Games sprinter Vivian Williams, two time Australian medalist Daniel Nwaboi, National finalist Siena Towndrow, and Australian Championship sprint representatives Calan Halos, Nick Porter, Lewin Ainsworth and Thomas Madigan.
