Just a quiet morning trackside Canberra Sprint Coach, September 30, 2024September 30, 2024 The FAST Running squad trains on the weekend on a Saturday and Sunday from 10am at Australia’s fastest track, the AIS. The morning vibe is always a buzz with some tunes playing over the speaker from the squad’s nominated playlist. The low key session on Sunday followed a hectic training block in the lead up to the ACT Secondary School Championships where the squad earned 11 top three positions and 8 state championships. With the next focus being the All Schools Championships in December, many of the squad are looking forward to what comes next. For Jess, she’s just finished her first season as a Centre Back (CB) for Womens National Premier League team Tuggeranong United. She will use the football off-season training with Canberra Sprint Coach, Steve Dodt, to develop her speed and agility as she looks to push for greater representative honours in 2025. Jess is in good FAST for Sport company as both Patrick and Oliver look to build their explosive power in the offseason as well.
