Competing in both the 200m and the 400m, Lewin lowered his previous 200m PB from 28.18s to 27.66s, in his first competition since the Australian Little Athletics Championships in Adelaide. This performance was only just after his first 400m hit out for the season with a respectable 1:02.55, which is faster than his previous PB of 1:03.35 (by almost a 1s), and he finished fourth overall in all ages.
