Whatever it takes Canberra Sprint Coach, June 12, 2024August 29, 2024 Finding motivation to do the impossible isn’t just in the realms of the movies. The members of FAST Running are conditioned to manage extremes. In pursuit of running excellence, an athlete needs to be both physically and mentally prepared for whatever challenges come their way on race day. Canberra Sprint Coach, Steve Dodt, encourages squad members to go beyond their known limitations. This can take the form of training in all weather conditions, times of the day, or conquering something new. Everything is individualised to how their body moves and what it needs. Developing a can-do attitude in the face of adversity is the crucial element often neglected by people. Building that champion mentality, to get up off the floor and finish things, is the self-motivation and self-belief that FAST Running instils in every member. At every training session this is on display by someone in the group. These moments are recognised and shared to inspire others and remind everyone of whatever it takes.
