When you don’t see her pounding the track, you’ll find Jaimi-Lee studying to complete her Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Sydney. The already qualified Physiotherapist has been combining her love of running with her studies for the last four years. Jaimi-Lee who had no prior experience with running has been a revelation as she dropped over 45s in her best 800m time before her move to Orange. Now back in Sydney and training mostly by correspondence, she enjoys getting back to Canberra to train with FAST Running especially her FAST Females besties. Ava and Jaimi-Lee are among a number of professional women training with FAST. Their incredible stories of mixing two lives to forge ahead with their sporting goals is aspiring.
