The sun sets on summer Canberra Sprint Coach, April 24, 2024August 29, 2024 With the summer competition period now at a close, FAST Running turns to one of its favourite training cycles, Winter. The general preparation (period) is crucial in building foundation, address weaknesses or imbalances, work on technical development, recover both physical and mentally from the competitive season, and establish good training habits in the months that follow. This will see the squad enjoy doing sessions right across Canberra in some of our best training locations. The AIS will remain our home on weekdays as it is Australia’s fastest track, but getting out and about into the community is always fun. If you are interested in attending a session, to give it a go, or to find out more about our training programs, please contact Canberra Sprint Coach, Steve Dodt. What makes a hard training session?
